1)
Where can you run events?
We are fully mobile and can work at a variety of venues from hotels
and country houses to green field sites. Most of our events take
place in the UK and Europe although we will consider work anywhere
in the world. We offer a free venue finding service or you may like
to browse through our favourite venues.
2) It feels like we have done everything,
do you have anything completely new?
We are constantly
brainstorming new ideas in addition to our stock of events
that we have designed and run over the last 20 years. Only
half of the events we have run feature on this site so challenge us with
your brief and let us surprise you with our proposal.
3) Who have you worked for in the past and
can we get recommendations?
Our recent client list includes
many blue chip companies. References are always available and
we encourage clients to take these up when considering our
proposal.
4) What happens if it rains?
In
our experience guests often have just a good a time when it is
raining as long as they are looked after well. For outdoor events
guests are advised to bring warm clothing and we supply waterproofs,
hot drinks and shelters depending on the venue. There might also
be a back up plan with indoor activities although this may have
a cost implication.
5) Some of our group are really active and
others prefer more cerebal tasks, how can we keep everyone
happy and involved?
We can advise you on the best events
for your group. None of our events require the fitness of a
special forces soldier and it is our policy to include activities
that everyone will enjoy.
6) We are not sure about the abseiling tower
for the activity day, is it safe and is it an activity for
everyone?
With any such activity it is the 'appearance
of potential danger' that makes it exciting rather than 'actual
danger'. We work on this principal on all of our events, abseiling
is a great example as there are safety back-ups in place throughout
along with a 100% safety record on over 10,000 abseil decents,
it might look scary but it is extremely safe. We find that take up
of guests for this activity is between 90-100% even for first timers.
More cautious participants are encouraged rather than pressurized
to have a go and we normally provide background activities
so that everyone is busy.
7) I love the idea but need to justify the
'team building' element to our training department, can you
help?
CCC's team building events have been developed to
be stimulating, fun and encourage participation in a non-threatening
environment. There is a time and place for 'talk and chalk'
and this is generally the next step after building relationships
and breaking down barriers between team members. With clear
objectives we can help to demonstrate the benefits for you.
8) I have only got £1500
to spend for our event, can you help me?
We can offer
lower budget variations of many of our popular events or suggest
alternatives to fit your budget. Please give us a call to discuss
the options.
9) Why do you quote all events on an individual
basis, can't you have a fixed price list?
With so many
variables involved it has proved virtually impossible to come
up with a fixed price list. Our solution is to provide a guide
price and then have a very quick turnaround for quotes, typically
within 24 hours.
10) Why are CCC quoting prices lower/higher
than other companies for what looks to be the same product?
It
is worth looking at exactly what is included in the package.
We try and quote an all inclusive event price wherever possible
and avoid 'extras' such as staff accommodation and meals which can
be left out of some comparable proposals. The high quality of CCC's
staff is often complimented on by guests, which is reflected
in the rates that we pay.
11) What insurance does
CCC have?
£5million
Public & Products Liability. A copy of the certificate is available
on request and our brokers can be contacted for confirmation.
12) What does CCC stand for?
When
the company was formed we ran mainly outdoor events hence 'Corporate
Challenge Company'. The name was changed in 1993 to 'CCC Events'
as the business grew and indoor events proved popular. We now
run more events indoors than outside!
13) Are you the Classic Car Company?
No.
If anyone from Directory Enquiries is reading this we are an
event company and not Croydon Cable Company, Classic Car Company,
Computer Consultancy Company etc..
14) What are your Terms and Conditions?
Our
Standard Terms of Business are available on request
or can be viewed by clicking here.
